Singer, songwriter, producer - that’s the definition of a musical triple threat. When thinking of an Australian example, look no further than Faydee. An electrifying artist and performer hailing from Sydney, Australia, taking the global music scene by storm.
His latest single "Legendary" which is accompanied by a 5 track EP with the same title, has received an overwhelming response from industry and dedicated fans. The single was released on March 2016 with a music video which has already received over 1 million views in it's first 2 weeks of release.
In 2015, Faydee co wrote and collaborated with Shaggy, Mohombi & Costi on the worldwide chart topping single, "Habibi (I Need Your Love”). The video has gained over 100 million views since its release in September 2014 and became a major hit in the U.S on July 2015. Faydee scored his first taste of U.S billboard chart success, entering the hot 100 billboard and peaking at no.20 on the billboard pop charts. “I Need your love” also saw success in the UK entering the top 40 charts later that year.
Faydee has garnered over 500 million views on YouTube to date and 230 million views on his official channel alone. His previous singles “Laugh Till You Cry” and "Cant Let Go" peaked at no.1 on radio and iTunes in Romania, Greece, Bulgaria & Cyprus and top 10 in Poland, Cambodia & Turkey. The videos have gained over 50 million and 95 million views respectively on YouTube.
In mid 2015, his single “Lullaby” was released. The music video has over 11 million views, charting at number 9 on the official Romania radio charts as well as the Top 10 official iTunes charts in Cypriot, Moldova and Romania. Lullaby saw major success in the Middle East, especially Egypt and Lebanon, charting top 5 on their major stations, Nile FM and NRJ, while gaining traction in the U.S, scoring the ”Hot Shot Of The Week” several times on San Diego’s Z90-FM.
Last year Faydee was invited to major festivals and award ceremonies such as Lebanons' NRJ Music Tour on August 1 2015 attracting a crowd that led to many radio and magazine interviews and several invitations back to the country to perform. He went on to win and receive an award for “Best European Artist” held in September 2015 at the Big Apple Music Awards and received his award at the event in Hamburg.
In 2016, Faydee shows no signs of slowing down. After the success of his sold out concert at the Riverside Theatre in Sydney, Australia earlier this year, Faydee has plans to continue on headlining his own worldwide tour.
As an artist signed to an independent label ‘Buckle Up Entertainment’, Faydee is in a league of his own, and will continue to release hits of an impeccable quality and originality for years to come.
